The original band "No Alibi" was formed in 1991 and has had a number of line up changes over the years. No Alibi played a variety of events ranging from small clubs, charity events, weddings, reunions and private parties.

When No Alibi lost a good friend and great drummer; Michael Hartman, the guys decided that it was time to move in a new direction. The covers were set aside and the focus was placed on new original material. With this new direction came a new name and Hollowdog was born.

The new material that was written was recorded and relaesed in 2007 on the Dog's self titled debut CD. The CD shows the wide range of musical influences that helped form the band's sound. This new music was perhaps best described by one Portland musician as "Classic Rock that you haven't heard before" You can purchase the CD online at CD Baby (see our Links section)

With the current line up the band is contiuing to evolve musically much to the joy of the people who hear them play.
